Vision
20/20 has unlocked the mystery surrounding collection and analysis of data for
your Community Risk Assessment. This free
3-day training breaks the process down into a linear set of well-defined and
manageable tasks to draft a basic CRA.
Students use various organizational data sets along with Vision 20/20’s
intuitive training, tools and Vision 20/20’s proprietary template to quickly
and efficiently draft their CRA, setting the foundation for organizational CRR
planning and implementation. The Data
Collection & Analysis training was developed with Vision 20/20’s philosophy
to Educate, Equip & Engage and is a strategic investment to build a vital
skillset for current and future fire service leaders.

Training Requirements & prerequisites
· Understanding of
the principles and practices of Community Risk Reduction, including the 6 step
CRR planning model.
· Pre-course
assignment – We ask that you bring some detail on organizational history,
special hazards and an EMS dataset.
· Vision 2020 will
work with your State NFIRS manager to obtain your dataset for this course.
· Have a working
understanding of Microsoft Word & Excel
· Bring a laptop to
class with Microsoft Word & Excel (Surface Pro tablets are not recommended
for this training).
