Joshua (Josh) Frost

Applications Specialist, Knox Company | Deputy Chief of Fire Prevention, Zionsville Fire Dept. (Ret.)

Joshua Frost retired from the Zionsville Fire Department in 2025 as the Deputy Chief of Fire Prevention. Josh has been a member of the FIAI since 2005 and has served as the Central Region Chair for many years and served on the State Board of Directors. Currently, Josh is representing the Indiana Fire Service on the Indiana Fire Prevention Code Update Committee. Josh has been an active advocate for fire and life safety causes in the Indiana Legislature on behalf of the Indiana Fire Chiefs Association and the FIAI. Josh is now working for the Knox Company as an Applications Specialist assisting fire departments with setup and training of Knox systems. Among other volunteer activities, Josh is currently on the IvyTech Homeland Security and Public Safety Department Advisory Board. In his personal life, Josh is married for over 25 years to his wife Lori and they have six children. josh has a excellent presentation for those preparing to step into management side offire prevention divisions.
