Accounts Manager, Dyne Fire Protection Labs - An NFPA Global Solutions Company

Stan Barnes has more than 30 years of service in the fire protection industry, including 28 years with the Farmington Hills Fire Department, where he specialized in public education and community outreach. He currently serves as Account Manager for Dyne Fire Protection Labs, an independent testing laboratory focused on NFPA 25 inspection, testing, and maintenance requirements, promoting the importance of compliant fire protection system testing to protect lives and property.

Stan serves on the Executive Board of the Michigan Fire Inspectors Society, supporting approximately 800 inspectors with code education and Community Risk Reduction (CRR) initiatives. He works closely with the Michigan State Fire Marshal through the MI-Prevention CRR Task Force and volunteers as the NFPA State Representative for Public Education. He has also led and supported numerous community, school, and inspection programs, including partnerships assisting older adults and individuals with disabilities in support of NFPA’s Steps to Safety Program.
