Jason Kephart serves as Assistant Fire Chief for the Madison Township Fire Department in Morgan County, Indiana, where he oversees administration, operations, and strategic leadership as second-in-command of a career department. He also serves as Fire Marshal for the Whiteland Fire Department, overseeing building inspections, fire investigations, pre-incident planning, code enforcement, and hazardous materials operations.
He holds a Master of Science in Counterterrorism from Nichols College, a Bachelor of Science in International Relations (Global Security) from Indiana Wesleyan University, and an Associate of Arts in Homeland Security from Waldorf University. He has earned professional certificates in CBRN-WMD from The George Washington University and Radiation Protection and Security from the University of Nevada, Reno, along with multiple certifications from the State of Indiana, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Energy.
Jason is a lifetime member of the U.S. Army Chemical Corps Regimental Association, a member of the United States CBRN & HazMat Association and the Fire Inspectors Association of Indiana, and serves as a board member of the Indiana Fire Investigation Task Force.
