Charlie Mathewson is a 20‑year law enforcement veteran with experience as a municipal police officer, transit police officer, Special Agent, Investigator, and Assistant Director of Risk Management. He currently serves as a Divisional Inspector, overseeing police operations across Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, and Nebraska. Since 2010, Charlie has also supported Operation Lifesaver and now serves as the RISC Training Program Consultant, helping advance national rail safety training for law enforcement and first responders. His blend of operational expertise, leadership, and commitment to public safety makes him a trusted voice in the safety community.
