This two-hour course provides an applied overview of Chapter 32 of the 2014 Indiana Fire Code, focusing on the hazards, code requirements, and inspection priorities associated with high-piled combustible storage. Students will review how high-piled storage is defined and classified, and how storage arrangements impact fire protection features and emergency operations.
Join us for a practical overview of Chapter 32—ideal for new inspectors who want a strong foundation and for seasoned inspectors and plan reviewers looking for a helpful refresher. Please bring your Fire Code book to follow along and take part in exercises on commodity classification. Presentation handouts will be provided.
