Director of Programs, Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse and Suicide
Megan started in the field of child abuse as a children's therapist at a rape crisis center over 20 years ago and later moved into research. In 2012, she began working at one of the nation's oldest child advocacy centers where she provided Darkness to Light's Stewards of Children child sexual abuse prevention program for adults and was named Darkness to Light's Facilitator of the Year in 2018. She moved to Indianapolis to be closer to her family in 2020 and has been with the Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse and Suicide since then. She has trained adults from different backgrounds and professions on topics of child sexual abuse prevention and response, child safety policy for youth-serving organizations, adverse childhood experiences, youth suicide, and digital safety.
