We and several departments in our area use the Mobile Eyes contractor portal, which contractors can submit through. I think IFD actually has an ordinance requiring it, but we have pretty good participation because most of the contractors using it also do work in our jurisdiction.

There's a level of automation, that you can customize, to get email and/or text alerts based on the level of concern that the contractor reports... which doesn't always match our level of concern, but too much information is better than too little.
