Inspection duties for my jurisdiction are shared between the fire department and county technical code enforcement for new commercial construction and remodels. The fire department and code enforcement typically conduct joint inspections with the fire department looking at fire protection systems, firewalls and life safety. While county code enforcement is conducting structural, plumbing and electrical inspections. Does anyone have a contract or MOU agreement between their county and city that they would be willing to share? Our City Attorney has asked me to reach out to other fire inspectors in Indiana and see if any such contract exists. Thanks!
