This seminar is designed for code officials who would like to better understand, apply, and enforce the various and somewhat complex code compliance alternatives requirements in Chapter 34. There are eighteen different category considerations of the passive and active fire protection features of the building that should be properly evaluated by the code official. It is crucial for the code official to have a proper understanding of all of these various code considerations to ensure these compliance alternatives have been properly assessed.
